Driving examination (Kontrollfahrt)
Did you get your driver’s licence outside of Switzerland?
You can exchange it within 12 months for a Swiss license. Depending on the issuing country of your current license, you might have to pass a driving examination (Kontrollfahrt). Please prepare carefully for this test – failing it will require you to start the entire process from scratch as a new learning (theory examination, traffic safety course (VKU), driving examination).
