The minimum age for the learning license can be purchased already at the age of 17. As of January 1, 2021, people aged 17 and over can acquire the learning license, even if they are not yet 18 years old. This means that people can prepare for the driving test and take the car test from their 18th birthday, even if they have not held the learning ticket for twelve months.
In addition, there is a new regulation that theory and traffic instruction (Vku) that are taken on January 1, 2021, after the 2-year validity of the learning ticket expires, can order a new learning ticket without repeating the theory exam and traffic instruction.
